At Movement Plus, our goal is to help busy individuals stay active and move better in their day-to-day lives through structured, individualized strength and mobility programs that use physical therapy principles to eliminate pain and reduce the risk of injury.

Dr. Micah McMillan, PT, DPT

Dr. McMillan is a licensed Physical Therapist who earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and his Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Micah specializes in movement assessment and performance-based rehabilitation with a focus on 1-on-1 patient care. Dr. McMillan designs individualized strength and mobility programs tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and movement patterns.

His proactive approach bridges the gap between rehabilitation and real-world performance, helping clients build strength, improve mobility, and stay active without recurring pain.

What is performance-based rehabilitation?

Performance-based rehabilitation is a proactive Physical Therapy approach that incorporates strength training and movement efficiency to reduce the risk of injury and help active individuals return to peak performance.

How will I receive my weekly exercises and feedback about my form?

Weekly exercises, feedback, and communication will be given through the TrueCoach app. TrueCoach is available on the App Store. Once you are signed up for a program, you will be sent a link via email to sign up and create an account through the TrueCoach app.

Where will the in-person treatment sessions be located if I choose the Hybrid Movement Plus Performance Coaching?

Sessions will be performed at the client's house if the client is local to the Maryland area.

What if I am not ready to fully commit?
